When supplier prices climb, the instinct is to absorb the hit and protect the customer. That instinct quietly erodes your margin until you are working harder for less. The healthier response is deliberate, data-driven pricing.
Avoid the blunt across-the-board increase. Instead, raise prices on low-visibility items (a syrup add-on, an extra shot) where customers are less price-sensitive, and hold the line on the "anchor" products people use to judge whether you are expensive. Round to psychologically comfortable numbers, and revisit your recipe costs in your ERP every time a key ingredient moves more than 10%.
